Queenstown is situated on the shores of Lake Wakatipu and overlooks the majestic Remarkable mountain range. Lake Wakatipu is over 378 metres deep and 82 km in length. Cardrona, the historic township is on the Wanaka side of the Crown Range. The renowned Cardrona Pub and ski fields of Cardrona and Snow Farm are well worth visiting if you are in this area.
